Join us for a fun holiday tradition of The Nutcracker Ballet. Follow Clara and her Nutcracker Prince as they travel through the Land of the Snowflakes and on to the Kingdom of the Sugar Plum Fairy where all of the sweets come to life. This production is presented by Festival Ballet Virginia. We are excited to present the full-length version of the Nutcracker ballet this year featuring Tchaikovsky's complete score. The run time of the show is two hours with one intermission. While at the show, visit our special holiday boutique to get a jump-start on your holiday shopping. The boutique - featuring ornaments, Nutcrackers, stocking stuffers, books, toys, and sweets - will be open prior to and after the performance, as well as during intermission. Raffle items include gift baskets, coupons for dance classes at GWDC, dance-themed baskets, and gift certificates to various stores and restaurants. All proceeds benefit Festival Ballet Virginia.
