The Greater Washington Academy (GWAcademy) offers a condensed school day and an abbreviated annual calendar for focused dancers who struggle to balance classes, rehearsals, and performances with school work and home life. As these students progress in their training, the amount of time required increases exponentially, making it nearly impossible to maintain a conventional school schedule. The GWAcademy Dance Program aims to relieve the stress of students managing a full day of school, additional hours of training, and homework. Imagine being able to attend a fully accredited scholastic program in the morning, train/rehearse in the afternoon, and still have free time in the evening! Restoring the balance is the focus at the Greater Washington Academy.
